Paradise Ranch consists of 40. 2-1/2 +- acres lots. The Ranch lies 1-1/2 miles southeast of the town of Rodeo, New Mexico. It is 31 miles south of Interstate 10, 3 miles east of the Arizona State Line and 50 miles north of the Mexican border. The Ranch sits at approximatly 4,125' altitude with an average rainfall of 11". The town of Rodeo was founded in 1902 as a way station and watering stop for the El Paso and Southern Railroads carrying copper ore from the Bisbee mining quarry to the Phelps Dodge Smelter in Playas, NM for processing.
During proabition and with the state of Arizon voting dry, Rodeo, just a mile over the stateline, became a swinging town with a couple of bordellos, plenty of salons and stories that live on today.
Rodeo and it's neighboring town of Portal are seeing a resurgence of population growth with a number of artists, crafters and writers taking up residency along with a growing number of retirees.
